PREAMBLE:-
There is no gain saying the obvious
fact that Ohueta Clan in Ihima- the third in the order of seniority of Ihima
Clans, has not only always demonstrated her desire for peace but has worked for
and pursued peace at any given point in time. It is common knowledge that peace
will always elude any family or community where you have people whose stock in
trade is fomenting trouble as is being experienced in Ihima in the last decade
or so, due to the warlike activities, utterances and negative posture of our so
called senior brother- the Emani Clan-who arrogate to themselves the status of
a father. And in the last couple of weeks an outrageous outburst brazenly put
into black and white was also released by this same group of mischief makers
aimed at setting the homogenous Ihima community ablaze once again but for the
wisdom and love for Ihima community coupled with the fear of God in the other
integral Clans making up Ihima.
It is simply for the purpose of
setting the record straight that we are painfully responding by this rejoinder
to the effrontery posed by HRH, Samuel Onimisi the Obobanyi of Emani and Emani
Clan in general by mischievously re-writing the history of Ihima in his own way
contrary to the history of Ihima being handed down from generation to
generation as inherited by people of, say, 20years and above. All well-meaning
people expect that HRH- Samuel Onimisi needs not be told to know and learn that
humility is the attribute of champions rather than breaking bridges of peace
and unity and emphasizing non- existent history and publication of Obnoxious
